Time to seed your teams but not interested in assigning each team individually? Now you can automatically assign each team as long as a tie-pattern has been selected. First, make sure you click on Edit All Divisions and assign the appropriate tie-pattern to each division. You can also assign the date group, game #, and length of game. Next, seed your teams.
Located under AUDITS, is a link called Unassigned seeds: XX teams. Clicking on Unassigned Seeds lets the system seed all teams where tie-patterns have been assigned. The system will assign them in alphabetical order. Once the system has seeded the teams, you can make any changes you want. If you know a team must be A1 but the system seeded them as A7, you can modify it. The system will start with A1 and continue to follow the tie-pattern until all teams have been seeded.
This approach is best for leagues who may not have a preference for seeding, but tournaments are welcome to use it, too. You cannot have the system seed some divisions and not others. You can manually seed some divisions by clicking on the number of teams under TEAMS first; then have the system automatically assign the rest of the divisions.
