ECYSA standard export for MA state clients

MA state clients now have the ability to create the ECYSA report, which is required for submittal of travel players. This will help reduce the amount of time it takes to manipulate a standard export to meet the specific requirements of ECYSA.

For non-MA state clients Demosphere is always willing to discuss creating a standard export to facilitate submitting the club's data to the state association. Just send an e-mail to support@demosphere.com. We also offer a state level registration product to meet the unique needs of a state association and if both the club and the state use Demosphere, the data will be sent automatically.

Automatically seed teams in every division for a tournament or league

Time to seed your teams but not interested in assigning each team individually? Now you can automatically assign each team as long as a tie-pattern has been selected. First, make sure you click on Edit All Divisions and assign the appropriate tie-pattern to each division. You can also assign the date group, game #, and length of game. Next, seed your teams.

Located under AUDITS, is a link called Unassigned seeds: XX teams. Clicking on Unassigned Seeds lets the system seed all teams where tie-patterns have been assigned. The system will assign them in alphabetical order. Once the system has seeded the teams, you can make any changes you want. If you know a team must be A1 but the system seeded them as A7, you can modify it. The system will start with A1 and continue to follow the tie-pattern until all teams have been seeded.

This approach is best for leagues who may not have a preference for seeding, but tournaments are welcome to use it, too. You cannot have the system seed some divisions and not others. You can manually seed some divisions by clicking on the number of teams under TEAMS first; then have the system automatically assign the rest of the divisions.

Any export can be copied and pasted into Microsoft Excel.

Additional Control for Broadcast Email to teams who apply for tournament and travel league

Sending a broadcast email to your teams who applied for your tournament or travel league? Now you can adjust who they respond to without changing the administrator's email address. To turn on the broadcast email feature you must enter an email address under Administrator's Email Address in the Season Structure Wizard. Once that step is complete, the feature is turned on and you can access it via Team Application Manager. Click on Broadcast email, filter who should receive the email, and enter your email message on the final screen. You will see that From and Reply To can be modified from the original administrator's email address. The From is who the email is coming from and the Reply To is who the response will go to if a team responds. Typically, the From and Reply To is the same email address.

NOTE: This broadcast feature only works if you're accepting team applications for a tournament or travel league.
