A new update feature has been released for WebWriter® Content Management System (CMS) customers. that ensures your website content is receiving the highest organic search results. WebWriter® websites now provide daily updates to benefit your search engine optimization (SEO) results amongst search engines.
Each day, an XML file conforming to standardized Sitemap Protocol is updated in the background of your site. This new file provides search engines (Google, Bing, etc) with the necessary data to catalog each public page in the full website, resulting in better web visibility through better placement in the result of a search. Each page in your site is indexed daily, including your home page, all public department/sub department pages, and all public articles.
This feature is now immediately available to all existing and new WebWriter websites. In addition, there are no special requirements or actions needing to be taken for this process to operate. Every 24 hours, each WebWriter CMS website’s existing sitemap.xml file will be replaced with a new copy reflecting any changes that have transpired since the last update.
